‘Creemos’, ‘אנו מאמינים’, ‘Wij zijn van mening’, ‘wir glauben’, ‘nous croyons’, ‘we believe’. These are the phrases that can be found in the video clip. ‘We Believe’. There are more than one language included with a purpose. Why? Different languages represent different continents. However, all of them are saying one same thing, ‘We Believe’. Everybody hates violation and sufferings. Because everyone believes in peace. We believe in life. We believe we could have a better way of life without suffer and pain. Not only for us. This includes the entire human all around the world. It is a phenomenon! A believe! A hope!

We may not notice that somewhere in this world, there are people who suffered. We continue our lives and try to survive in this world by believing in the love. When we are suffered, we always believe that the good people will come and save us. If the heroes won’t come up and save us, yet we still believe someday, someway, it will change. This ‘believes’ make us strong and give us the will to live and fight till the end of our lives.

There are lots of short clips on war as well as the disaster happened all over the world. We could see where people are helping each other. One of the most interesting scenes is when a brave man stopped a tank from attacking his place. His heroic deed will be praised by every person in the world who has the sense of love in his or her heart.

Other than war and oppression, the video also showed clips of tsunami victims who have lost everything in their life. The phrase ‘We Believe’ could give them a reason to continue living. They will stand up and pick up their pieces of life although they knew that the new beginning of their life is almost impossible as they have nothing and no one to rely on. This phrase will be a paradigm for them to move on.

We choose this song because the message they want to deliver is so deep. It is a nice song to be heard and a really beautiful in the lyrics. In the video itself, they use candles as a symbol of hope. Towards the end of the song, each and every audience held the candle at their faces and protects the lights from fading off. This could means that people are hoping for a better tomorrow, as fair and just as the light of the candles and preserving it from their awful past.

We are all the same but we lead a different way of live. We might be the victim. We might be the villain. We might be the people who fight for others. We also might be the people who do not even care to what is happening all around the world. We believe that somewhere in their heart they care about life. We believe the world can be change. No more suffered. No more war. We care about each other. We are helping each other to survive this temporary live in this world. We stand together as one. Because we are human. We are weak. We share the same thing although we live in a different part of the world.

After watching the video, you might feel the same feelings as the people who are in that kind of situation. We might not realize it but this song always reminds us about it. We tend to forget as a human. Sometimes we are not even know what we are doing until someone point it out for us. For us, Good Charlotte has delivered their messages clearly from the song.

Lean on me

"An extraordinary situation calls for an extraordinary solution." this quotation is suitable to describe the whole story. Lean On Me is based on a true story of a principal in a New Jersey high school, Eastside High. The Principal, Joe Clark, is hired in 1983 to run one of the worst schools in this state. His mission is to turn this crime, drug, and graffiti infested school around completely in one year’s time. Clark must bring order and peace to this school and must also bring up the learning level of the students so they can pass the state’s minimum basic skills test. As a teacher to be, this story is useful to help us on class management and how to control the students.

Moreover, as Tesl students, we need to know others culture so that we can understand about their culture and we can teach local students about it. The story is full of moral values that we can follow for example, we must respect elders and our teacher. As conclusion, this story is very interesting to see and really help us all in improving our manner and perhaps we can use the methods of teaching in the movie to the real life.

Akeelah and the bee

when i first see the movie, i guest that its quite a boring story but i totally wrong. the story is about an Eleven year-old girl and her father is dead, her mom ignores her, her brother runs with the local gangbangers. She's smart, but her environment threatens to strangle her aspirations. Responding to a threat by her school's principal, Akeelah participates in a spelling bee to avoid detention for her many absences. Much to her surprise and embarrassment, she wins. Her principal asks her to seek coaching from an English professor named Dr. Larabee for the more prestigious regional bee. As the possibility of making it all the way to the Scripps National Spelling Bee looms, Akeelah could provide her community with someone to rally around and be proud of it but only if she can overcome her insecurities and her distracting home life. She also must get past Dr. Larabee's demons, and a field of more experienced and privileged fellow spellers. The story is full of moral story and it has interesting plot. It is suitable for family to see the movie and for us as a teacher to be, we can pick example on how teach students. As conclusion, I'm really enjoy this movie.

The Gruffalo

This book really capture my interest. It is a story of a smart mouse create a story to save his own life from being eaten by his prey. The mouse create a story that he is a friend of a Gruffalo and without expected he jump into a real Gruffalo. the mouse create another story that all creature afraid of him and he manages to scare the big Gruffalo but in actual fact they are afraid of the Gruffalo standing behind him!.

The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and Axel Schffler is easy for children to remember, because it use a simple language. In other hand, this books is suitable to be read for all kind of age because it convey a lot of moral stories.

Edwina The Emu

Edwina and Edward were two emus who got along splendidly. One day Edwina announces that she has laid ten eggs, and their lives begin to change when Edwina wants to search for a job. While Edward sits on the eggs, Edwina searches for work. She tries three different career that she thinks suitable for her which are a ballet dancer, a chimney sweeper, and a waitress.

Although she puts a lot of afford but each one does not seem to be a good fit, and ends up with someone saying "YEEK!" After someone at the restaurant mentions that he once ate ten eggs straight from the nest, Edwina quickly grabs a cab and heads home to Edward and their precious eggs because she realize that all the jobs did not suit her well.

after all the eggs hatch, they name all of them with lovely names and guest what is the name of the last one? of course YEEK!

i think this story is really interesting and actually this book focuses on family. Although it isn't very realistic for people to both stay home, it is a great concept to be able to be together as a family. The story is easy to understand and able to digest to all of the child because it using simple English.
